The current issue of the London Review of Books is titled the “Sad Summer Issue,” crushing whatever optimism I held for August. Anyway, the Brits are offering three articles to read as free content from this issue with Andrew O’Hagan reviewing 50 Shades of Grey, Christian Lorentzen writing on Paul Krugman and Jeremy Harding reviewing The Passion of Bradley Manning. All three are worth a read.
