Last week Reagan Arthur Books published the new satirical novel from Simon Rich What in God’s Name. The story follows two angels who work for Heaven, Inc. who devise a plan stop God from destroying all of humanity by getting the two most socially awkward people in the world to fall in love. I’m a bit surprised I wasn’t sought out as an inspiration. Anyway, the novel has already been reviewed by the New York Times and NPR, and if satire is your thing, it seems worth a look.
