The sexy, action-packed first book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from Sarah J. Maas.

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time.

As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.

From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking book that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable read.

Thrilling novel combining somehow a love for Harry Potter, Beauty and the Beast, and so many more great stories into one brand new novel. I couldn’t put this book down. 10/10 read!
  • Fun Story

I didn’t know what to expect when I read this, only that I had seen young women in the bookstore buy it and check it out. I didn’t even know it was romance — just that it was some fantasy story about fairies. I really enjoyed this book and the story. I enjoyed the series as well, though I thought it started stronger than it ended.

The imagination ✨ of the different courts and they way they were brought to life 🤌 beautiful. I loved the character development. The characters were all so deep and unique. I appreciated that there was spice, but like the right amount of spice 😘 Not too much detail just enough to know what’s goin on lol and not a lot of it either. Thanks I could end with this book and be happy… though I doubt I’ll be able to stay away from reading the rest.

I hesitated starting this series as I’m not really a fantasy person, the only books I have read in that genre are Harry Potter! It had so much hype that I had to try it- Omg I finished it in 2 days. I did not want to do anything but read this book, my sleep schedule was so jacked up cause I refused to sleep. I love the way this author writes, she world builds so beautifully and the characters are just *chefs kiss*. Just start it now, I’m mad I didn’t start sooner.

I am really not one who would normally gravitate towards a fantasy book, but this one really hooked me and I absolutely cannot wait for more!! Seriously, give this one a shot if you’re even mildly on the fence.
